hi, i'm lisa.
this blog is about my thoughts and feelings and stuff. stuff that makes sense in my head, but doesn't once it's out. but it probably didn't make any sense to start with. that kind of stuff.
sometimes i write about my mother.
sometimes i write about sex.
and other times i write about life.
however, i will never ever write about my mothers sex life because contrary to popular belief i know the difference between topics that are sort-of-okay and definitely-not-okay-no-matter-what.
you might notice that i write about a girl named jessica (sometimes referred to as "beezy" if the mood strikes me) a lot. she's my best friend and it is not uncommon to find us stealthily planning our next shenanigan at 3 a.m. with a bowl of instant mashed potatoes and ridiculous lists-of-nothing on multiple legal pads. she supports my ever growing obsession with lions and desire to be highly caffeinated and/or intoxicated. i support her tea-drinking habits and her quest to find love within questionable partners who may/may not have performed bodily functions in articles of clothing. compromise is the foundation of our relationship.
speaking of relationships, you may notice that i tend to disguise some of my acquaintances with appropriate aliases. and the object of my current affection will always be referred to as 'that guy' unless otherwise noted.
when i'm not drawing up intricate schemes or reading my horoscope like a crazy person, i might be found engrossed in one of my current projects, like my life list. or my book list. when i'm not gallivanting around trying to accomplish my dreams, you will probably find me doing exactly what every other twenty-some-year-old person with a computer is doing.
and now to put an end to this: if you have read all of this and rightfully concluded that i am an irrational-thinking-lion-loving-horoscope-reading-nut-case who doesn't write things that make her parents proud, it is my solemn promise that you will not be disappointed. i also solemnly promise to say the word fuck. a lot.
